About My Art

I am a painter of people and places.

My art is about what I see and how I see it.  It is a look at how I
perceive the world and the people in it.  My work is often
described as being stylized and impressionistic.  I have been
greatly influenced by the master painter Gustav Klimnt and his
unique vision of our world.

I hope to bring to my paintings a skillful interpretation of the
subject, one that is full of spirit and vitality.

I am a partner in an Art Gallery in Red Deer called the
GALLERY IS.  This is a place where we show the public the
beautiful and creative side of the people they know.  We carry a
large variety of artist that are both established and emerging.  
There is a little of everything including, pottery, ceramics, soap
stone sculpture, metal work, jewelry and 2 dimensional art.   
Our gallery has been open since March of 2006 and is located in
Red Deer's  Downtown at 5123  Alexander Way.   I hope to see
you there.
